Congratulations! Your daughter or son was accepted into the U.S. Naval Academy. Only 7% of applicants make it to this point, so this is an achievement you can celebrate. We know you’re already proud of the work they put in to get here — late-night study sessions, long hours spent perfecting their sports and activities, their efforts to secure the nomination, and all the tasks they needed to complete to prove they could make it here. Now they are preparing to become plebes, and it is time to show off some of that pride!

It’s time to get spring officially underway. After a wet winter, the flowers and greenery on the Yard are eager to start their seasonal show, and we are ready for some warmer weather. Spring showcases some of the best Annapolis has to offer, from seaside breezes off the Bay to the return of Farmers Markets and festivals, to gardens awakening across town.
